I am biking across the USA from Los Angeles to Washington DC in order to see Barack Obama's inauguration.

On the evening of December 15th 2008, Ryan Bowen will embark on an epic ride across the country, starting in Los Angeles, California, arriving January 20th in the nation’s capital at the Inauguration of Barack Obama. Pedaling for PROGRESS and cycling for CHANGE, Bowen will document the American people’s experience through photographic and film documentation. Diverse perspectives will be examined and represented to give an authentic account of America’s reactions, hopes and fears since the election.

This audacious journey will not highlight one ambitious individual seeking the support of a nation, but it will unite the American people and encourage them to be the architects who construct the Highway of Hope. Support Ryan Bowen in this endeavor, as he needs the people to unite the people. From Blue states on the West Coast, through the Midwest and Deep South, voices will be heard and lives will be touched. As President Elect Barack Obama states, “Change can not come from Washington. Change must come to Washington”. So let us unite in this movement and join in the first step toward a better America.
